The Man In The Arena
I came across a motivational quote while reading Take Your Shot by Dave Striegel. Thought it might move you as well.
“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Terrain Grid System 2
Grid generator and territory/cell highlight system for both 3D and 2D. Great asset for those working on RTS games.
STYLZ - Fantasy Village
Built-in URP HDRP Compatible Compatible Compatible
A great looking fantasy village with more than 250 models. I love that it’s neither too cartoonish nor too realistic. It’s modular, so you can build unique looking villages.
Dreamscape Village - Stylized Fantasy Open World
Built-in URP HDRP Compatible Compatible Not Compatible
Another fantasy village asset, but this one is more cartoonish and more Ghibli looking. The best part is that it has a playable demo. You can play and test it yourself before buying. I hope this becomes common practice in time.

TikTok
TikTok is slowly but strongly replacing Twitter for game developers who wants to create awareness for their games. It’s a great place to build your community FAST! Here is a video for those who want to use it but has not yet started:
Inspiration
I’m in love with the visual design of Tribal: Slavene Kingdoms, a party based RPG that hasn’t been published yet. It reminds me of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.

I gathered all the asset sources I used in a list. These are the ones I find most useful. Anything missing?
Me
Reading: Mistborn 7: The Lost Metal by Brandon Sanderson. I’m a fan of era one, but can’t say I enjoyed era two so far. The final book hasn’t changed my mind yet, but we’ll see!
Watching: Pepsi, Where’s My Jet? A mini documentary series that tells the story of John Leonard, a young man who collected enough Pepsi Points to claim a jet as Pepsi commercial suggested and gave Pepsi trouble. Recommended!
Playing: Sekiro. Its combat system is addictive even for me who’s not a fan of souls-like games at all.
